CAMERA SIMULATOR

See exactly what the camera does.

A geometric simulation with a real focal length, distance and depth of field. Watch the camera view and the top-down map together, then change the parameters.

Camera map

Simplified geometry: a stand-in figure, a stylised Kuala Lumpur skyline and real lens maths (35mm full-frame equivalent). It shows mechanics, not final picture quality.

COMPARISON STUDIO

Two techniques. One timeline.

Play two techniques in sync to see what really changes. Start with a classic pair.

AI CINEMATIC PROMPT STUDIO

Direct the camera. Copy the prompt.

Choose your subject, scene and camera. The prompt updates as you go, with a live preview of the shot and warnings when choices conflict. Everything runs in your browser, with no AI service and no sign-up.

INDUSTRY PRESETS

Start from a real brief.

Ten ready-made scenarios from Han Yong's corporate and creative work. Open any preset in Prompt Studio and adapt it.

STORYBOARD STUDIO

Sequence your shots.

Build a short cinematic sequence shot by shot. Each card writes its own prompt, the timeline adds up the running time, and you can export the whole plan.

LEARNING MODE

ABOUT THIS LAB

Built for creative teams who direct AI.

Cinematic Camera Lab is a free educational tool by Han Yong, an HRD Corp accredited AI trainer and creative director in Kuala Lumpur. It is used in corporate AI training to give teams a shared camera vocabulary before they generate video.

The reference stills feature Allia Neko, the lab's recurring AI-generated character, so you can compare techniques on one consistent subject. For movements a single frame cannot capture, the still shows the key moment and the simulator shows the motion.

Platform notes describe each tool in plain language and avoid invented syntax. AI video models change quickly, so always check results.

From experiment to practice

Style and light are creative decisions.

These free explorations show how visual references become directed work. See how Han Yong brings that process into creative direction and corporate AI training.
